Terms of Service

Last updated May 9, 2026

These Terms govern your access to and use of VeraLift, including the VeraLift mobile app, website, subscriptions, and related services.

1. VeraLift is technique feedback, not medical advice

VeraLift provides AI-assisted lifting technique feedback for informational purposes only. VeraLift does not provide medical advice, injury prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, or a replacement for a coach, personal trainer, physician, physiotherapist, or other qualified professional.

Lifting weights carries risk. You are responsible for deciding whether an exercise, weight, program, cue, or technique change is appropriate for you. Stop exercising and seek qualified help if you feel pain, dizziness, unusual discomfort, or any health concern.

2. Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be able to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use VeraLift. If you use VeraLift on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.

You are responsible for the activity associated with your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

3. Video uploads and user content

You may upload lift videos and related information so VeraLift can process and return form feedback. You retain ownership of your videos and content, but grant VeraLift the limited rights needed to host, process, analyze, display, and support the service.

Do not upload videos that you do not have the right to use, videos of another person without permission, illegal content, or content that violates another person's privacy or rights.

4. Subscriptions and billing

VeraLift may offer paid subscriptions such as VeraLift Plus. Subscription details, including price, billing period, renewal terms, and included usage limits, are shown before purchase.

Purchases made through the iOS app are billed by Apple through your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.

Subscription access may depend on successful payment, App Store processing, and RevenueCat purchase status. If a payment fails, expires, is refunded, or is cancelled, access to paid features may end.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse VeraLift, interfere with the service, reverse engineer the app, attempt unauthorized access, overload our systems, abuse support channels, or use VeraLift to build a competing service from non-public parts of the app.

Do not rely on VeraLift as your only source of safety, health, or training judgment.

6. Service changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of VeraLift over time. We aim to keep the service useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that VeraLift will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device, video, angle, lift variation, or training context.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

VeraLift is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VeraLift and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, injury, training decisions, or reliance on feedback generated by the service.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information. It is available at https://veralift.app/privacy/ and is incorporated into these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as VeraLift evolves. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of VeraLift after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
